Once the parts were made and fitted, they were transported to the bridge site and reassembled. We started by standing one pole on the pin in the foundation and tying the top with ropes to trees and the anchor. Three ropes were used for stability. Then, the second pole was stood over its pin and attached to the first with the top and deck support boards.
The photo below shows the cross bracing on the lower half of the tower.
