The Successful Marriage

My wife and I frequently hear, both on-line and in reality, people who say "Oh, how I’d like to have the kind of relationship that you’ve got."
 
It seems a lot of people today are looking for their own version of "happily ever after"   Really, isn’t that what we’re all looking for?
 
The problem is so many have the assumption that "happily ever after" means that the roof is never going to leak.   But in real life, the roof will leak, it’s simply a matter of "Do we choose to hear the annoying noise or the music as the drops of rain water hit the bucket?".
 
After hearing so many people talk about wanting to have the kind of love and relationship that my wife and I have, I felt called upon to offer some Biblical answers as to:
