For Christmas one year, Sun wanted to give me a fantasy portrait of the two of us. After we bought a print of a painting by renowned artist Pam Burton, she knew who she wanted to do our painting. She contacted Ms. Burton asking if she would do a commission portrait in oil, and to Sun's delight, she said she could.
Sun sent Ms. Burton pictures of us and a very general description of what she wanted. With in days she received a sketch of the proposed portrait. The sketch was amazing. It was exactly as Sun had imagined, including details and nuances she hadn't even mentioned.
